A local business has recently broadened its horizons and expanded its service area prompting a name change from Har-Mor Ag Air to AgWerx Aviation.

The change was made March 1 by owners Tim and Yolanda Hauder of Blair. According to AgWerx Manager Allen Soll, the couple have owned the aerial application company since around 2007.

“We’re working in several different states now, roughly eight, and HarMor was a very local name,” said Soll. “Everyone knew what it stood for but it really didn’t represent the agricultural application. AgWerx Aviation really covers what we do with aerial application. A lot of people didn’t know what HarMor was or represented outside of this immediate area.”

AgWerx Aviation provides its customers with all types of aerial applications such as fungicides, herbicides, insecticides and cover crop seeding. According to Soll, the company does a huge amount of cover crop in Iowa and Nebraska.
